Christie Amos and her father Woodie Amos sit in front of Woodie's newly relocated RV, where he keeps a permanent residence. About a month ago, Woodie was forced off of his land in St. Joseph by the city, citing an ordinance that forbids the use of a travel trailer as a permanent residence. Woodie is disabled and suffers from frequent seizures, he now lives near Elwood, Kansas, 20 minutes farther from his family, and sometimes necessary medical attention.

Children gathered up candy and if you were lucky enough to grab a plastic egg, it could be redeemed for a prize.
