About a month ago, Woodie was forced off of his land in St. Joseph by the city, citing an ordinance that forbids the use of a travel trailer as a permanent residence. Woodie is disabled and suffers from frequent seizures, he now lives near Elwood, Kansas, 20 minutes farther from his family, and sometimes necessary medical attention.
