Volunteers from Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry load a pallet of shave gel and other various items from the Second Harvest Gleaners Food Depot at Hope Lighthouse Ministries in downtown Muskegon. Food is brought in from Grand Rapids to between 17-25 local agencies twice a month.

Malburg Farms in Hart stands with a small pile of about 10 tons of Sugar Beets harvested early in the morning, Gerry says about 90% of his Sugar Beet crop, 2,500 tons, which are bred and raised specifically for animal consumption, will go to waste due to the ban on Deer Baiting.
Construction is being done on the existing portion of the Loutit District Library in Grand Haven, and a new addition is being built on by Triangle Construction.
